MCAO Notice Board Updates

Updates for 2025/2026:

  • Oral Mandarin Lessons (Fall2025/winter 2026) 
    Oral mandarin lessons will be held twice monthly on Saturday 2:00pm - 2:45pm starting September 6, 2025. 
  • Low Impact Sports (Pickleball, Badmington and Table Tennis) will be held in the gymnasium starting September 06, 2025. 
  • Fitness class will continue as part of our scheduled Mix and Mingle.
  • Line Dance will be held in the gymnasium twice monthly on Saturday 3.00pm to 3.45pm.
  •  
    Conversational Hakka twice monthly 1.30pm tp 2.00pm.
  • Music Activities twice or as needed - 1.45pm to 2.45pm
  • Mahjong, Dominoes, Cards and Board games - weekly 1.00 - 4.00pm.

Christmas Party  2025

MCAO are very pleased to announce our Christmas Party 2025!

Our informal Christmas gathering this year will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at Langstaff Community Centre, 155 Red Maple Road, Richmond Hill, ON   L4B 4P9 from 12.00pm to 3.00pm.  Members can bring family and friends and the fee for attending the event will be as follow:  -  Members $10.00 pp, Non members age over 12 : $ 15.00pp, Children age 12 and under free.

MCAO will provide food, beverages and desserts, we also encourage you to bring your favourite Christmas desserts to share.

MCAO Current Activities

  • We are pleased to provide you with an update on MCAO activities during the Autumn months.  Below are the updates as we move into the falls weather during November and December, 

    Qigong/Taichi:

    These classes will continue bi-weekly during November and December, please see your email for the dated Sat,Aug 30, 2025.

    We are planning some Christmas Carols singing for this event, and mixed chinese and english songs for our upcoming Chinese New Year event. To that effect, we will be rehearsing songs on those Saturdays when activities are held at Monseigneur De Charbonnel Catholic Secondary School. Members (and friends and families) who are interested in participating in those rehearsals are required to send an email to Alain Lan at This email address is being protected from spambots.
